My Best for You

My Best for You is a Workshop for upper elementary students and their parents on God’s plan for sexuality.

Parents and students together will explore the Biblical view of human sexuality and behavior. In fun, interactive and age appropriate ways, families will be equipped to guard their hearts, minds and bodies with honest, healthy Bible-based knowledge.

God’s plan for our sexuality is always in our best interest. Nothing the world offers can compare to living within God’s truths. This program teaches that God wants us to have an abundant life in all areas while experiencing true freedom inside His safe boundaries.

Workshop Goals

Utilizing both large group presentations and small group discussions, participants will learn:

• Our worth comes from God.
• The Bible is our source of truth.
• The functions of the male and female reproductive organs.
• God designed sex as a gift of intimacy and reproduction for married couples.
• God provides support systems that can help us remain pure.
• Worldly influences and friends can affect our sexual choices.
• There are negative consequences of sexual activity outside marriage and positive benefits for waiting until marriage.
• Jesus is our Savior, Guide and Strength.
• Committing to a Purity Pledge can enable us to experience God’s best by opening His gift of sex in His time.
