Men's Ministry

Each day, women in unplanned pregnancies are faced with a choice; choose life or abort their unborn child. Many factors can influence a woman’s decision to abort including pressure from her partner, family, and friends; her circumstances (finances, living situation, illness, work or school); and our culture and the media which all say abortion is the answer. Often our culture fails to recognize that abortion is a man’s issue as well.

Men facing crisis pregnancies have either consented or encouraged their partners to have an abortion and like their partners, may be have been uneducated in the reality of abortion and its consequences. Or they have chosen to take what seems like the easy way out instead of accepting responsibility for their actions. But there are also those men who don’t want abortion, but feel like they have no say in the decision regarding the pregnancy because “it’s a woman’s choice.”

Do you have a heart for the Pregnancy Care Center ministry but feel as a man there is no place for you to serve? There IS a place for you to serve and it is in a very important role. We need male peer counselors to minister to the men who come to the center.

As a Men’s Ministry peer counselor, you would:

  • Address the sexual sin issues of men, including abortion
  • Share Christ’s love for men
  • Heal lives from shame in the light of Christ
  • Give men a safe place to be encouraged, grow, and be strengthened in Christ
